Excellent service. This company helped me when my kitchen flooded. Not a fun time to need a plumber, but when you do you want someone who can lend a helping hand. I've got them working on other things now to prevent such mishaps in the future. Highly suggest ALL new homeowners give them a call and have them inspect your home immediately after you close and preferably right before or just after you move in!

Steve was terrific. I had two leaks right around/underneath two different water heaters and from all appearances to the untrained eye it was the water heaters leaking. He diagnosed the problems and it had nothing to do with the water heater.or even my plumbing. One was the HVAC and the other was the outdoor sprinkler leaking into the basement. Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter is definitely my plumber of choice.

Main water line break Rocks, Rocks and more Rocks This was by far one of the most challenging jobs this crew had ever tackled (due to what lies beneath) and they did it with the most positive attitudes I've ever seen! It is a distinct pleasure to write this review for Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter of Hayden, Idaho. Simply the BEST Licensed Idaho Plumber we have used in the last 12 years. Straight Shooter is the BEST in professional knowledge, the BEST in skill installation, the BEST in attitude, the BEST in price, and the BEST in scheduling our job to be done immediately. "Immediately" is unheard of in North Idaho at this time because most plumbers won't do maintenance work because they make more money doing new construction.

Neither do most plumbers call you back; or, if you get a call-back, it is later than sooner, and you are at the end of the line in their install schedule. Getting a superb licensed plumber in North Idaho for household plumbing care is one of the most frustrating aspects of contemporary life. From a Google Search of nearby City of Hayden, we cold-called Straight Shooter Plumbing and Rooter on Tuesday, and to our complete surprise, our call was answered by the owner, Steve, himself!

He instantly scheduled a visit the next morning, Wednesday, and he came, he diagnosed all our problems created by our previous plumber, he identified the solutions, and he had an electronic, itemized bid to us that same evening at a fair price: to de-install the bad job of the first plumber, and to install 3 new 55 gallon water heaters in "parallel, " with "L" copper piping, soldered, and our gas joints re-worked and corrected from the mistakes made by the first plumbing company so that our existing gas appliances and heater were not affected.

Not only that, Steve was able to get 55 gallon heaters, (50 gallons are easily available, but not 55 gallons) and he was able to come, himself, with his partner, Nick, with all the necessary equipment needed for the job, and install our complicated job, completely to our satisfaction, 6 business days later from our first meeting! This is significant!

With all that Straight Shooter does so well in plumbing, it is topped by their "can-do, " "will-do, " "want-to-help you as soon as possible" attitude. We want Straight Shooter to be our licensed plumber, for life. Yes, WE RECOMMEND STRAIGHT SHOOTER PLUMBING, AND WE GIVE THEM OUR HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! Great service by friendly and skilled technicians. I had a broken flange and couldn't install the new toilet. SSP removed and replaced the bad flange. Then installed the new toilet. High quality work and done quickly with a thorough cleaning up after work when done with job. Highly recommend!

Prompt and professional service, even on a Saturday. I called at 7:45 a.m. on a Sat morning, expecting to leave voicemail and hope for a call back on Monday regarding a leak under my kitchen sink. Nope. Steve answered, said he had an appointment but he'd drop by on his way to diagnose. He arrived ~30 minutes later, looked at the issue and immediately fixed it.

The p trap had come loose, he tightened it and **voila** no more leak. To top it all off, I anticipated a $40-$50 service call for his effort, but he didn't charge me. I'll call Straight Shooter Plumbing in a heartbeat, no question, to help with any future plumbing problems I encounter.

Steve and Dave were excellent to work with. We discovered a leak early one morning and they came within 10 minutes. They located the problem very quickly, explained everything so we could understand, and replaced the broken pipe. They also gave helpful information for further water damage repair. It's a horrible problem to be dealing with, but they made their portion of the process as simple and painless as possible for us. We're so glad we called them and would call again about any future problems for sure.
