In May of 2023, we saw a sign for Advantage Remodeling & Roofing at our lovely neighbors house after the heavy hailstorm that hit Plano and we decided to give them a call. From the very beginning AR&R has been professional, extremely helpful, focused on the issue(s) at hand, explained the process of working with the insurance company, etc…so after a great conversation with them, we decided to hire them! The best decision we’ve made to work with this incredible TEAM. They taught us a lot about patience, persistence, especially when working with an extremely challenging insurance company, who doesn’t want to pay and wants to cut corners. AR&R was there for us! The quality of their work is superb!! They are well organized, they respect your property, they ensure items around your home are well protected to prevent any damage, and their cleanup work was amazing! We highly recommend AR&R and their TEAM to do your roofing or home remodeling jobs! You will be happy with the quality work they provide!!! I can't recommend this company and Mr. Fish enough. I reached out to them on Tuesday night; on Wednesday morning, Mr. Fish was already here. While I brought up roof concerns only, he did a thorough job inspecting the roof AND the fence, AC units, and other structures that may have been affected by storm and hail damage. He then spent a lot of time with me explaining what was important to get fixed and what was not urgent.
He also dived deep into how an insurance claim would work if we were to submit it, what the insurance company would cover, and what they would not. You can tell he is an expert with rare integrity who puts his customers first. He saved me a lot of time, hassle, and money by recommending the next steps. I highly recommend Mr. Fish and Advantage Remodeling and Roofing for all your roofing and remodeling needs, and they are definitely the best advocates out there to represent you when dealing with insurance adjusters.

The tile in my 24 year old master bath started popping off the wall. I was walking my dog in my neighborhood and saw Mr Boris by his truck. I asked him if his company did small jobs like I had. He gave me his card, I called and the rest is history. I was assigned Kirk Gross as my project Manager. This young man was wonderful. He kept me informed, Walked me through each step, had the workers there when they were supposed to be, every thing cleaned up each day.
What I liked also was the estimate was for labor. They gave me a list of amounts of tile, fixtures, etc. I could then decide what I would like and not have to pick something just to stay in budget. I could get what I wanted. These 2 gentlemen made this a very good professional job. Every time I walk in that bathroom I smile. Thanks to Mr Boris and Kirk

We discovered Advantage and Fish while working on a neighborhood home. We asked him to drop by and review our situation and offer suggestions. Fish was very patient, understanding, and explained the repair and claims process as clear as any contractor I have ever used. Keep in mind that we have experienced roof damage over 8 times in the 28 years we have owned our home.
I was not in any rush to remedy the repair as a result of past "Fly-by-night" contractors used in the past. In my opinion they disrupt you household, create more damage than they repair, rush through the job to collect the funds, and don't address any subsequent issues caused by the damage. This is not the case with Advantage. Although the repairs tool time to work with insurance, Fish patiently worked with us, his customers, and Insurance, to explain everything that was happening with our home as a result of the storm.
If you are an inpatient person, that wants immediate results, and not a complete repair, Advantage is probably not for you; but if you want a complete and professional job, with attention to details, a friendly crew, and a responsive company, you should give Advantage at try.

Highly recommend Advantage Remodeling and Roofing for all of your home insurance related needs! I would not have managed dealing with our lightning strike and moving at the same time without the help of Mr. Fish. He was very open, up front, and honest about everything that he was doing and was personally involved in all of the work done at my home.
He was very good at documenting all of the work and reporting it to the insurance company. His work was never questioned and paid in full by the insurance company. He was always quick to respond and had lots of helpful suggestions about other work around the house that we needed done. We will be calling him again with any future home insurance related claims!

We had Advantage Remodel and Roofing come out to our house to evaluate hail damage from a storm a month back. They were extremely professional and provided several options for us to consider based on the outcome we desired. After the initial consultation they were out the same week to install everything we had agreed upon. Once onsite and completing the work, I was very impressed with how professionally and quickly they worked.
I had lots of questions as they were working (and looking over their shoulder some) but they answered all my questions without rebuke and went back to work. I highly recommend this company for any roofing or interior remodel needs. They did such a great job on the roof that I'm having them back out for our kitchen update we have been planning.
