At The Happiness Psychiatrist®, my approach to patient care focuses on addressing the entirety of the individual: mind, body, and spirit. I advocate for the balanced utilization of psychopharmacology alongside psychotherapy and complementary treatments like meditation, Kundalini yoga, and walking therapy. This holistic approach has the potential to catalyze profound changes for individuals coping with conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, binge-eating disorder, OCD, and various other mental health challenges and life circumstances.

Personal Coaching has been life-changing for me. I didn’t realize how many deeply held negative beliefs I had that were holding me back from living a happy life. With Dr. Ambardar’s help, I’ve been taking a hard look at my beliefs about relationships, money, and work, and I’m realizing that (1) I don’t have to take on other people’s ideas of what my life should be and (2) I can make small changes in a step-wise manner that actually make a difference and make me happier.

Dr. Ambardar has tremendous insight into personal and collective trauma and the impact of ancestral trauma on a person's life. It is not often you come across a professional who has an in-depth understanding of collective trauma and its impact on an individual's life. Her work and her insights have been supportive in my own healing journey. I highly recommend anyone wanting to connect with their ancestral histories, collective trauma, and current life experiences to work with Dr. Ambardar. She is a caring professional.
