Dr. David Jourabchi DDS is from Los Angeles before moving to Phoenix, Arizona to fight off sugar bugs and fix cavities for kiddos and individuals with special behavior or healthcare considerations. In his spare time, he enjoys watching superhero movies (with an allegiance to Spider-Man), hiking, biking, swimming and a tasty BBQ.
Dr. David earned an undergraduate degree of Bachelors of Science in Psychobiology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with latin honors. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA School of Dentistry and continued to learn how to improve health outcomes for pediatric and special needs populations through a Fellowship in Community-Based Care at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. My visit to the kids dental spot for a teeth cleaning was really nice! Dr. Jourbaci was amazing. He was gentle when cleaning my teeth, and he made me laugh too. He was also really kind, which made me feel comfortable. The whole experience was great because of him. The staff there were friendly and helped me feel at ease. The place itself was clean and bright, which I liked. After Dr. Jourbaci finished, my teeth felt super clean and shiny. I'm really happy I went there, and I'll definitely go back!

As a current dental student and Autism Mom. I can't speak highly enough of this dental office! A place where each and every child is welcomed with open arms. My son is on the autism spectrum and faces challenges with sounds, lights, and transitions. Dr. David and his team are attuned to the needs of our community. The staff was kind and wanted to make this experience as positive as possible.
It seemed as the brush that the assistant used to clean my son's teeth was very low in noise which made a HUGE difference to my kiddo. Additionally, they used great strategies such as modeling each step on the toy lion. The one thing I REALLY want to highlight is the culture in Dr. David's office. from stepping into his office all the way to heading out. my son was celebrated each and every step.
It didn't feel like we were rushed through the visit. and rather we're given the individualized attention that my son needed. Have I mentioned that the office has a sensory room?! The list goes on and on. but if you are looking for a place that's caring, nurturing, and part of YOUR village. THIS IS IT!

Dr. David and Jenny are amazing! My little guy is terrified of doctors (even getting his haircut is a nightmare). They were so kind and patient with him and let him explore the room and tools, giving him space to warm up on his own time. Dr. David's exam and cleaning was quick and efficient and he gave me a very thorough explanation of where my kiddos dental health is at. If you need a pediatric dentist, don't hesitate to come here!

I had an excellent experience Kids Dental spot. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was friendly, helped ease any anxiety. Dr. David was very knowledgeable, patient, and made me feel comfortable during the visit. The office was clean, and appointments were efficiently managed. Overall, a positive and reassuring place.

Dr David is the kindest doc we have EVER met. Not only does he have never ending patience, he is also the most compassionate. Dr David connects with our child by joining his world and not forcing him into our world. He shares the joy with our son and allows him to be himself. When our son came to him at his new office he was totally fine with him seeing EVERY inch of the new building, and starting the laundry.
We visit every 3 months and Dr David celebrates even the smallest of victories in our progress. I also need to mention the the other staff, Jenny and Steph, they are so welcoming and compassionate. So willing to do whatever it takes to help our son find success at the office. We previously saw jenny in the dental assistant role and are so happy to see her front of office and appreciated the communication as well as organization. Steph is new to our family but she showed our son around and spoke to him like person, she knew she needed to build rapport to help him be successful.
All of these traits are hard to teach because they have to come from the heart. And this dental office is full to the brim with love and passion. This new office is so clean, fresh, and we're excited to be along on the journey of this amazing staff building a location where everyone is welcomed as they are.

We had an amazing experience with Dr David and his team at Kids Dental Spot! From the moment we walked in the staff was warm & friendly. They have a great sensory play area our daughter enjoyed before her appointment. During her appointment Dr. David walked us through everything he was going to do & was very kind and caring during the exam. We will definitely be back for our 6 month check up!

The appointment with Dr. David was the first time my 5-year-old autistic son didn't have a panic attack at the dentist. I've found that most dentists just don't want to take the time he needs to feel safe and comfortable in what can be an intense sensory experience. Both the receptionist and hygienist were kind and a very calming presence. I'm so happy to see my son be treated as a human being with valid feelings, and we will absolutely be recommending Dr. David to other neurodivergent families!

We met Dr. David at another dental office and when he opened his own practice we decided to follow him because we love him so much and he's so great with my autistic son! You can just tell he has a heart for kids but especially the little ones who need some extra love and patience. Dr. David is simply the best

Dr. David and the Kids Dental Spot staff are awesome! This is my first time taking my daughter to the dentist and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. David is proactive and compassionate when it comes to caring for his patients. My daughter was scared of the dentist and refused to get into the dental chair. Her perspective of the dentist changed right after Dr. David started her treatment.
My daughter kept saying her teeth felt so clean and she couldn't stop smiling. Dr. David gave her so much confidence. We will definitely be coming back and sticking to Dr. David as our pediatric dentist.
