Doug and the team at 1800waterdamage did a wonderful job. Having a flood is very stressful, but having a team that took over immediately was so helpful. I loved that I never had to figure out what the next step was or who to call, they took care of it all. We had a lot of different workers/contractors in our house and everyone one of them was professional and the quality of the work was exceptional. I have always recommend them and now that I actually had to use there services; hands down they are one of the best companies and people to work with.

1800 water damage. Worked on my flooded basement when no one else would. I called local companies and they could not be bothered as it was not a big money maker for them. The employees worked hard to get it done and than it flooded again and we had to do it all over. Than my daughter was hit by a drunk driver and was not expected to make it and they stood by me.

They even cut the bill down to help me. Being a disabled Senior and having a company that goes above and beyond to help through this whole mess, was amazing. On time, honest and professional. I called them out to look at my house and what seemed to be a large mold problem ended up just being insulation sliding. They were honest with me about not needing their services and that speaks volumes to me. I'll call them again if I ever do need their help.

I found out about the company through a realtor friend. I had major water damage under my home. They contact me within minutes and arrived at my house a short time later and started doing their thing. They followed up q uite often and they were polite and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone else. They handled everything for me with my home insurance and they left everything in place as it should be and they did a wonderful job

We had a dryer vent screen that was not removed after the completion of our home build. This led to a plugged dryer vent that created a condensation drip. Fast forward 5 years and we discovered mold and drywall damage in our laundry room. We called 1-800-water damage and they were on it immediately. They sent someone out same day to assess the situation and then coordinated all the various trades required to fix the damage.

They kept me in the loop via email and text. Unlike 90% of the other contractors I've worked with, these guys were on top of it. Great quality work and at a fair price. I can't recommend them enough. A !

I had a water damage thing last June. It rained and a bunch of water came into our basement where we had a friend staying. I know that the company had a BIG PROJECT in process. They had all their people involved in a major money making deal. Doug called me and offered to have some of his people leave that job and come over to my house. It wasn't a critical issue, and I said that was not necessary.

They came over the next day and solved the issue. The point was that the offer was made and that is what 1-800-Water Damage is all about. Doug and NIta are incredible customer service people, and their employees get the job done professionally. I cannot thank Doug and Nita enough.

When I had an indoor flood in my home I called a friend who is a plumber. He recommended that I call Doug at 1-800-Water-Damage. When Doug came out to assess the damage to my home he helped me understand the process of clean up, working with my insurance, and reconstruction of my property. His team did a great job of communicating with me about when they would be in my home and what they would be doing. Doug stayed involved with me during the whole process.

When they were finished there were a couple of items that didn't quite meet my expectations. This wasn't because a lack of effort on the company's part, but due to my lack of communicating better in the first place. Doug didn't make any excuses or take advantage of me. Instead he immediately came over to consult with me and walk through the concerns I had.

The next thing I knew his team was back in my home addressing these issues and leaving me a very happy customer and grateful homeowner. While I hope none of my friends ever have a disaster in their home or business that requires 1-880-Water-Damage's services, I would never hesitate to recommend Doug and his team if they do. This is a team of professionals with a lot of integrity.

They were great to work with! They were at the house within the hour of my phone call and had the whole room, carpet and walls cut and fans going before they left for the night. Reconstruction went well and they worked very well with us to ensure we were happy with the service we received from the sub contractors and handled all the insurance communication. They made a horrible mess bearable and restored it to better than it was!

I awoke at 6 a.m. to a giant watery mess, thanks to a flooded toilet who's flap failed, and was clogged. I would like to add that it was my spouse's birthday, and he works close to 80 hours a week. I texted my insurance agent who gave me a name of a company that he recommended, which was not 1-800 Water Damage. Wanting to make a sound decision, I hit the internet searching for reviews as quickly as possible. 1-800-Water Damage kept coming up and was the only one that had either 5 stars, or an A with raving reviews.

I called Doug Stern, as my children were getting for school at 7:30 a.m., and he was at my home by 9 a.m. He had a crew of guys with him, who were friendly and immediately got to work. In one word to sum up Doug, he was simply amazing. He was very thorough, prompt, and paid attention to every little detail. He walked through my home to point out areas in my home outside of the damaged area that needed touch up. Doug helped negotiate with the painters, and even got them to touch up an area I had not noticed need painting. Doug was extremely helpful from sharing the knowledge of what my husband and I should receive from our insurance, to helping set up appointments for drywall, hardwood flooring, recommendations for a plumber, and painting.

He was helpful when it came to making decisions for paint and flooring. Doug surrounds himself with top-notch employees who always showed up clean, prepared to work, knowledgeable, and friendly. I dealt the most with Ryan, who is one of the hardest working people I know. Dealing with water damage is a process, and as one goes through the clean up process, more damage can be found than during the initial discovery. Overwhelmed with all that was going on with family life, a spouse who works a lot, and now a flooded house, I broke down in tears one more morning. Ryan was so understanding, and reassured me that my house would look better than before the flood.

All of the employees of 1-800-Water Damage that came to my home were just as kind and courteous as Ryan. Ryan did a lot of the finishing work of reattaching baseboards, kick plates, and the such. He was thorough, and paid attention to details. Doug checked in frequently either to make sure that every thing was either going well, to see if I had questions, or concerns. I would without hesitation use 1-800 Water Damage, and highly recommend them to anyone needing water mediation.

The best choice. Doug is the owner and I must say very friendly and professional. I had an emergency at 5am. My 35 gallon fish tank was draining from a leak. All of the water damage ended up involving 3 rooms. The house was completely taken care of by Doug. By the end of the week you couldn't even tell that there was a problem. PS Most of the fish made it!
