CookinGenie is such a high quality and helpful private chef service! The chefs are wonderful and my family, friends and guests have consistently been very satisfied and impressed. I was excited to learn that cookingenie is now in the DMV area. I had previously experienced this in my friend's place in Ohio. Registering on the app, viewing the menu and placing the order was super easy. I decided to try chef (Dashawn Toppin) last weekend. He was extremely professional and food was all freshly cooked in our kitchen. We ordered Thai salad, Fish tacos and Blackened Salmon.
All the food was excellent. My friends were amazed at the quality of food, personal chef-like experience at such a nominal price. I thought I would have some left overs, but I was wrong. We are looking forward to experience more of Dashawn's and other Chef's food.

We had my dads 70th birthday dinner prepared by George and it was spectacular! From his arrival, food prep, cooking, cleaning while cooking.! It was the perfect way to host a dinner party and still be able to relax and enjoy the evening. He cooked everything to perfection, one of the best dinners I've ever had. We will be rebooking, for sure.

Wow, what a concept. I was visiting a friend in Ohio and ended up experiencing cookingenie. Excellent experience. Tasty food was freshly made in my friends kitchen. I though it would be expensive as the chef was coming home to cook, but after hearing their prices i was completely amazed. I am anxiously waiting for cookingenie to arrive in my area.

Wow! Cooking genie is such an awesome concept. We had a dinner party for 10 and everyone enjoyed everything immensely. We did Indian cuisine. It was better than an Indian restaurant. The genie cooked from scratch. It took him about 3 1/2 hours to prepare. You could definitely tell by the food! We would definitely use cooking genie again. The price is very reasonable, the genies are excellent chefs and very professional.

CookinGenie is a novel concept which fits in aptly with the needs of modern living while preserving the traditional experience of eating at home. Our cook Christian, was fabulous in treating us to an evening of sumptuous food with the wondrous aroma of genuine condiments. Highly recommended! Very reasonably priced. The food was absolutely amazing. Jared was on time, professional, and very accommodating. He cleaned, dried, and put away all cooking items he used. He even swept the floor and cleaned the cooktop and microwave! The pea and asparagus risotto with scallops was out of this world. His guacamole was amazing as well. Will definitely be using this service again.

Had an opportunity to try this company at a friend's place last night. Absolutely delicious and wonderful concept. Christian was our chef and we all loved his professionalism and style of cooking. Our menu was Thai and everything was so balanced with great flavors. I have already recommended this to many friends and now planning my next dinner with friends because I know that I do not have to plan anything and I can just sit and enjoy the company of my friends while great food is being cooked in my own kitchen.

There is nothing better than a highly trained chef coming to your home and cooking a delicious meal for your family. It was a treat to have someone else shop, prep, cook and clean! And it's as affordable as eating out. Our CookinGenie, Jared, made authentic Thai food and there was enough to last for a couple of meals. It was a wonderful experience and I would definitely use CookinGenie again.

My husband and I tried Cook in Genie for the first time last night and were so pleased! Our genie arrived right on time, fully prepared and cooked the butter chicken and basmati rice that we had selected. The meal was excellent and a large enough portion for 2 nights for the two of us. Our genie left the kitchen spotless. The entire process was easy and seamless and we look forward to working with them again - we're thinking a small dinner party group for our next experience. Thank you for letting me enjoy a night off from meal prep (actually 2 nights, with leftovers)!
