Our old garage door opener finally called it quits after 16 years. Called VGDR in Cypress late in the day and they were there the next day. Good communication during the call--everything was explained fully. The tech spent an hour trying to get the old one to work--no pressure to replace it. I appreciated that. Turns out the cost of repair was over half the cost of a new one--we went with the new one.
After it was in he spent quite a bit of time trying to get the old remotes to work with the new system--no joy but it was great to see the effort he put in With my Veteran's Discount, the cost was half of what we thought it would be. Also liked the follow-up call from the company to check on the repair and see if we had any questions. All in all, a class act. They are now on our list of home repair providers

These folks had me scheduled for the very day after I called. They then texted me asking if I wanted an earlier appt that had opened up, which I did. TJ arrived on time and prepared. He is a good communicator and clearly explained the details in an estimate that he prepared in the first few minutes. It was a pleasure to work with Veteran Garage Door Repair and I'll contact them again, once I've cleared the opposite side of my garage so they may duplicate the improvements on that door!

Great service. I called about 8am and had a service representative at my house about 10am. Jake explained my options, answered my questions and made all the repairs. He inspected every aspect of my garage door and made the necessary adjustments before leaving. Very professional and courteous. Definitely recommend Veterans and ask for Jake.

First, the technician (Alex).arrived half an hour early (in THIS economy!) It was fantastic. He crawled under my half open garage door with me, stood inside and said the metal rollers pop off the tracks all the time and it would be a set price.for repair. (Yay) The entire repair job took about 20 minutes. He took off the old door, replaced the rollers with quiet plastic ones and made sure everything worked before he left. About half an hour later, I got a call to check to see if I was satisfied. It was $400 well spent in my opinion! Thanks. I will use again if needed.

Priced around and got quotes from several providers. I just needed a spring replacement. Quotes were 900-550 for a single spring, then I called Veteran's and got a very reasonable quote and 20 minutes later, Jovani was at my door. He was courteous, friendly, and fast. Hour later he had spring installed and even resecured my opener with a better mount, without charging or being asked. Thank you all again.

I just got home from a motorcycle ride sitting in the house cooling off and heard this loud boom noise! Looked in the garage and seen the spring on the garage door broke in half. Called 3 different company's getting prices and when they could come and do the repair. Veterans Garage Door company came to the rescue gave me one of the best prices, and I had a Technician at my house in 45 minutes.
The man they sent out was excellent and definitely knew what he was doing. He had it repaired in like 20 minutes. And gave me some pointers/ maintenance I needed to do on the door that I could do myself. Great company I will definitely use them in the future. Thanks Trent G.

Just has a service call this morning from this company and it was excellent. I had work done on my garage door 2 months ago by a different company to the tune of $2K and I felt like I got ripped off. VGD comes out for free and provides a free estimate. The tech, Jesse, immediately found 2 issues and my quote to fix them was extremely reasonable. I will be a lifelong customer because I can trust VGD.

Great service! They set a next day appointment when I called and the technician arrived right on time. He was able to immediately spot the issues and adjusted the door put on some new rollers that are a lot quieter and put on a new keypad outside. The whole fix took only about an hour. I definitely would recommend them.

Tech called me 20 minutes before arrival, he told me the issue, price and time it would take to change, I approved and he finished within the time limit set. I had no idea if price he quoted was within the average but then I checked their website and cost was listed as such. So no guessing on how much it costs, you just need to know the problem to budget. Great service and fast results.

Ulysses was fantastic! He did a wonderful job, was attentive to detail, and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied! This a is a 2 car wooden garage door, kind of a pain to work on! Heavy! Replaced 4 springs and adjusted hinges and lubricated system to ensure optimal performance. Highly satisfied and recommend to others.
