At the heart of Cremona, Mauro Lucini has been shaping violins with love and dedication for over 40 years. Our workshop, located at Piazza San Michele 7, is where tradition and innovation come together to create instruments with distinctive sound qualities.
Mauro’s experience and recognition from the Concorso Nazionale di Liuteria in Pisogne have helped him build a reputation as a master craftsman, and now, he is focused on creating affordable violins for talented young musicians. Our team, made up of two to three journeymen, works closely with Mauro to learn and refine the techniques of Cremonese violin making.
Together, we create instruments that have their own character, each one crafted to produce a unique musical voice. Our goal is to continue the legacy of Cremonese violin making while making it accessible to future generations of musicians.
