Glaucoma risk is not limited to elevated intraocular pressure. Traditionally, the primary treatment for glaucoma has been the use of eye drops to reduce pressure in the eye. 
Macular degeneration is a progressive eye condition that affects the macula and can severely impact central vision. The dry form is the most common, though the wet form can lead to more rapid vision loss. When diabetes affects the eye, it can lead to diabetic retinopathy, a disease that damages the retinas blood vessels. This can cause blurry vision, floaters, or dark spots. If left untreated, it can lead to blindness. Regular monitoring and good blood sugar management are key in preventing its progression. 
Myopia, a refractive error, leads to clear vision up close but blurry vision for objects at a distance. It is commonly inherited and usually noticed in children between 8 and 12 years old. During adolescence, myopia may worsen but typically stabilizes in adulthood. It affects approximately 25% of people in the U.S. 
Dry eyes occur when tear production is insufficient, or the tears are of poor quality, leading to irritation and blurred vision. This condition is more common as people age, though other causes include medications, environmental conditions, and health problems. Dry eye symptoms range from burning to excessive tearing, with potential damage to the eye surface. 
Acupuncture helps optimize bodily functions and supports self-healing by activating acupoints through the insertion of thin, sterile needles. The Doctor combines the best of Chinese and Indian medicine to heal issues for which there appear to be no other solutions. In my case, I presented with glaucoma with 20/30 vision and a small loss in peripheral vision. The doctor restored my vision to 20/15 and improved the visual field in my left eye so that it is normal and the visual field in my right eye so that it is almost normal.

The holistic eye treatment provided by Dr. Gandapodi at Netra Eye Institute has been amazing. I came here with multiple eye complications and my vision that was continuously worsening, even after taking treatments with surgery, multiple injections and eye drops from my local eye doctor. In just about 4 weeks of starting the treatment at Netra Eye Institute, my vision has greatly improved from just seeing fingers at 2 feet to seeing a few lines on the vision chart.
My macular edema has completely disappeared, and my IOP has stabilized from 32 to 9. Before the treatment, I was walking like a zombie with tonnel vision.
