My eight year old is so accustomed to my camera in her face that she once paused before taking the first bite of her ice cream cone and asked if I want to take a picture of it first. I eventually became the default photographer for each of my friend groups, for my girls and their friends, and of course for my family.
There are currently 81,401 photos and counting in my phone gallery. Suffice to say that for me, taking pictures is not just a profession but a lifestyle. My passion for photography has organically developed into a career that I love. Being given the opportunity to take photos for people that they love is one of my greatest joys.

It might seem contradictory to say lifestyle and portrait in the same sentence, but I want our photo session to feel relaxed and look timeless. We will take some smiling, posed portraits, but we will also laugh at each other, splash around in the water, and get some movement into our photos! Your photos will be delivered in a digital gallery.

I grew up on the island of O'ahu, and now I live with my family of four in the beautiful beachside town of Khei, Maui. My turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. I know how excited you are to receive your images, so I do try to get them back to you asap! We typically start about half an hour before sunset, to make the most of the "golden hour" light, and shoot until our sunset light is gone.
