My name is Jason Herbert and I'm an avid photographer. I have enjoyed many types of photography during most of my adult life, but have always been drawn to the human face. I have two daughters, and have taken thousands of pictures of their faces during childhood. Now, as teenagers, they are not as accepting of having a camera pointed at them, unless it's their own phone.
I am less intrigued by traditional sunset and landscape photos, which are typically not unique, like a person's face. I also enjoy the combination of the art and technical challenges of lighting with photography. These two interests lead me to focus on studio headshot photography. Headshot photos are not only for actors and TV personalities, and are not limited to just the head.

Services
All headshot sessions will be performed in a studio, unless you have a pre-approved, alternative location. You will receive coaching on each look, so don't be nervous! I assure you that the experience will be fun and extremely easy going, which is ideal to get a natural shot. The rates below are only for headshots.
The purpose of a headshot is to portray your unique look to a potential client or for a desirable project. You should not look drastically different in-person when compared to your headshot. You should be comfortable in what you are wearing and with how you look, as it will translate to a more honest, authentic you.
