Dr. Avery has been in the Waukegan community since 2011. She has established a dental practice that is patient centered and dedicated to patient care and comfort. She wants every patient to feel as though they are part of the family. Avery Family Dentistry delivers high quality dentistry in a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
A dental cleaning is a professional cleaning you receive from a dentist or dental hygienist. We use every measure to prevent tooth loss, but there are still occasions when a tooth needs to be removed. The foundation for one's teeth is formed by the gums, ligaments and bone around the teeth. Custom-designed mouth guards are made of durable plastic and molded to fit the shape of your teeth.
We're proud to offer Teeth in a Day, a permanent solution to missing teeth delivered in just one day! Teeth in a Day offers a way to keep dentures secure and allows you to go about your daily life with confidence. Teeth in a Day is a very different solution. You will still have beautiful natural looking teeth, but now they will also function like natural teeth.
After the examination, our Office Manager will review your custom treatment plan that is specific to your needs and to the overall health of your mouth. Then the Office Manager will go over what is to be expected at each appointment, fees, and answer any other questions you may have. If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, request that they forward them to our office.

I had my first appointment with this dental office about a week ago and I have never felt more comfortable. Every step of the process was explained to me so I would understand what was being done and why. During my cleaning I was often asked to make sure that I was comfortable and I was, I was so comfortable I nearly fell asleep! Cannot wait to go back!

My family has been going to Avery Family Dentistry for the past 4 years. All 4 of us have had terrific experiences. The practice is well-run, absolutely spotless, with all the state-of-the-art technology. Fantastic front office administration as well when dealing with my insurer. Dr. Avery will answer all of your questions thoroughly and is close to the research/academia behind procedures. I had a root canal and crown last year and I am in the process of a crown on another tooth. Wonderful experience with Dr. Avery with the help of Giselle. Giselle made me feel completely at ease and was wonderful to chat with while the prep work was done. Dr. Avery took great care of me and even gave me a warning whenever she was going to recline the chair! I'm super happy with my implant crown and the whole process was made easy. The entire staff is great. 5/5 will come again.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Avery. She was very kind. She went over my options for dentures. She gave me the option to consider All-on-four dentures. I lost all my teeth several years ago and since my gums have become very flat so my best option is to get the denture implants so they don't fall out. I was very embarrassed but she made me feel comfortable and I left her office very confident and hopeful for a smile. She referred me to Dr.Tatch and he is an amazing oral surgeon. I referred my family and friends she is a dentist you can trust.

I am a "big baby" when it comes to going to the dentist. However, the atmosphere made me feel related. Everyone I talked to was friendly, professional and took time to explain what they were doing and why.
