Three years after Henry Ford introduced the Model T to the American public, Roy Blair took his outstanding work ethic and expert craftsmanship and started a construction company. More than one hundred years later, Fred Blair continues in the footsteps of his father and grandfather by running a high-performing construction firm based on simple family values and long-standing business principles.

One beam at a time, Blair Construction is making the Virginia and North Carolina area a better place. In 1911, Roy Blair kept his contracts in his head and his tools in the trunk of his car. In the modern age, Blair Construction maintains those same high, small-town standards, while incorporating the latest industry advances in technology and safety.

This project is a pre-engineered, metal building designed to house another production line for this business. This project is a 117,000 square-foot pre-engineered metal building. It was built to expand an existing warehouse. The expanded joist floor system is the first in the industry to use 60' x 80' joists with a floor of only six inches deep.
Finishes: Drywall, carpet tiles, luxury vinyl tile, vinyl wall base, laminate cabinetry, acoustical ceilings, and white storefront entry doors and windows. This was a pre-engineered metal building. Blair created and installed a custom-made fiberglass cupola on the roof to match the adjacent Olde Dominion Agriculture Complex's cupola, which was also built by Blair.
Our task was to remodel The Danville Science Center which we first completed in 2005. Highlights of this most recent renovation were building curved radius walls, sound baffles and level-five finishes for projection walls to allow the new science exhibits to be installed. The DCC EIT/Welding Building in Danville allows students in our region to learn how to weld and be competitive for jobs at competitive wages.

I only wish I could give negative stars. Caught them stealing water from my employer 3 times, took up half of the parking spaces where I work even though their work site is not associated with my employer. Blocked our driveway and parking to the point that our clients had no access to our services on multiple occasions. Left their trash on our property. Most ignorant construction company; with the least understanding of community responsibility I have ever come across

I can't speak for their workmanship but I can personally vouche that they have inconsiderate drunks as employees. I wouldn't want them working on anything of mine after drinking till all hours of the night and having no regards for other guest at the motel they are staying at.
