I think most people who know me would agree that I am pretty dorky, genuine, and down-to-earth. I am passionate about helping people and making a difference and love to do that through my photography. I've been called a "confidence whisperer" for helping people with their fear of being in front of the lens.
Can I see and purchase ALL of the pictures taken during my shoot? The short answer: No. There are several photographs taken during a photo shoot, and it is expected that most will end up being eliminated for various reasons. Some will simply be test shots before exposure and other settings are ideal.
Karen is absolutely amazing! It was a top notch experience! She really guides you every step of the way, from picking the best location for your shoot to suggestions for everything you will need to prepare for that day. Getting your hair and makeup done is such a treat as well & I was so happy how flawless my skin looked in my photos.
I am a photographer, yes. But I am a mom first. And I understand the gratification that comes with capturing moments of happiness with your children. I also understand that children aren't always cooperative and patient, and that's okay. I have over a decade of experience working with children of all ages.

While Karen's professionalism was great, we were expecting more from the photos she took of a facility for us in San Francisco. The quality was lacking as the photos appeared dark, drab, and unimpressive. She came as a recommendation from a previous employee, however, what he failed to mention was that her specialty was in portraiture, not commercial photography. Even then, she should have explicitly stated this as well to us before we hired her. We unfortunately paid a substantial amount of money for -- what we consider -- a subpar product. I decided to do this shoot at a 30th Anniversary gift for my husband. After the most amazing experience with Karen i realized this shoot was more for myself. For months I was struggling with the decision to do a Boudoir photo shoot, telling myself all the reason's I couldn't. Well, I'm so glad I walked through my fears. From the 1st meeting with Karen she is personable and so comforting to talk with, she helped to quiet all that negative self chatter. The day of the photo shoot I was a little nervous, but that quickly went away. Karen is amazing at what she does, and I don't just mean being a photographer. She has this aura about her that just radiates and you feel special and beautiful in her presence. Karen empowers women to be just who they are.

Karen is so amazing and easy to work with! My husband was anxious and kind of uncomfortable going into 'a photo session' but she made him feel so comfortable and got some amazing, totally natural shots. She's incredible with kids, too!
