Services
Dr. Shannon Spence has been a chiropractor in northeast Nebraska since 1996. He grew up on a farm in Stanton, NE. He attended college at Midland University in Fremont, NE and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He graduated in 1996 and then moved back to Norfolk to serve his community and raise his family.
A chiropractor gives an adjustment, or spinal manipulation, by using a specific force in a precise direction, applied to a joint that is subluxated, locked up, or not moving properly. The purpose of this safe and natural procedure is to eliminate pain along with interference to the nervous system, improving spinal function and overall health.
Chiropractic health care is based on the scientific principle that our nervous system controls or influences the function of all 11 trillion interconnected cells in our body. Chiropractors are able to help a wide variety of ailments and conditions. Low back pain is one of the most common causes for missed work and has many root causes.
