I've never been in this kind of legal situation before, but every single step of the way was handled with care by literally every single person I spoke to, including the girls at the front desk and Mr. Blum. Emailed this firm with some questions before hiring them. The office manager, Susan Iheanachor, told me she could not advise (not being an attorney) but told me "When you get some time, please give our office a call and we can have an attorney speak with you."
I would have thought the correct move would be to pass my email to an attorney who could provide answers, but apparently that was too much trouble for her.
There are too many law firms who are professional and responsive, no need to waste time with this poorly-run outfit.

I would advise everyone NOT TO WORK WITH MR COLBY BERRY.I Repeat SAVE YOUR $ AND TIME AND GO WITH ANOTHER LAWYER!
1) never came to court prepared( multiple times😔)
2) always forgot the details regarding my case or even me completely his own client at one point
3) has some attention issues not sure if thats due to any outside rec use but attention span is shot and has trouble focusing on task at hand!
Just VERY! unorganized individual in general!!
I could go on but respectfully dont want to see another person hire this trash lawyer!.

A few weeks ago I contacted Kurtz & Blum to help with a DMV block on renewing my California Driver's License. 18 years ago I had a received a ticket in lovely Cary, North Carolina, but somehow failed to clear it. Because I missed a court date the matter was greatly complicated and now required my appearing before a judge.
