Services
APC provides services to individuals suffering from a variety of compulsive behavior difficulties. We provide services for the family members and loved ones affected by another's substance abuse or addiction. Our programs provide individual and group therapy services to adults and adolescents. APC is licensed by the state of Illinois through the Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (OASA) to provide evaluations and treatment services.

Mediation is a legal proceeding where a neutral third party helps two other parties facilitate an agreement. A mediator is legally required to take no side and a major advantage is that it requires no judge to impose a court order. Our mediators genuinely seek the best results for both parties. Our passion for cooperation helps preserve the mental and emotional well-being of all involved.
Reunification can be a powerful tool in healing the wounds of the past and forming new, healthy relationships for the future. Reunification is an effective way of gradually and safely reintroducing the parent/ child relationship with the goal of establishing a healthy and loving relationship. It is important to remember that the primary goal remains the same: to create the healthiest relationship possible between the child and the parents.
Anger is a learned emotion that can be unlearned and replaced with acceptable methods of expression. APC offers both Clinical Anger counseling with a licensed therapist and Anger Education with a Certified Anger specialist. All programs are one-on-one; we offer no classes.
