I am located on picturesque Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, USA and specialize in various forms of fine art photography including, nature, landscapes, and portraits. Using a combination of ground based and aerial photography equipment I endeavor to capture the beauty of the Low Country of South Carolina and surrounding areas.
I have been involved with photography in one form or another for over 40 years. I have traveled all over the world and visited over 30 different countries during my career. My wife Jo and I moved permanently to the Hilton Head, Bluffton and Beaufort area in 2015 and I established 3b photography as a local company to provide a range of photographic services with specialties centered on aerial photography and portraits of all types.

This gallery contains images of marsh birds that can be found either living full time or migrating through the Low Country of South Carolina and Hilton Head Island. The sizes that I have selected for the images displayed in my store are the ones that work best with the original aspect ratio that I used when I took and edited the image. Due to website limitations I can not offer on my site every possible size options. So, if you are interested in a different size and crop ratio, please contact me and I will let you know if it is possible to crop the image in the size you are interested in.

This galley contains aerial photography images that I have captured using drones. This is just a small sample of what can be done with drone/aerial photography. Most of my aerial photography is done using HDR techniques to capture images with good deals in the highlights and shadows.
