Services
I am Austin Zahn and I love photographing maternity, newborns, babies, kids, families, and seniors! We are located in Bakersfield, CA and have a beautiful home based studio and private garden. I have been a professional photographer for 14 years. I have a BA from the World Renown Brooks Institute of Photography where I studied photography and filmmaking.
Our Maternity Sessions are 1-2 hours in length and can be done in Studio or outdoors. We have over 50 different Designer Maternity Gowns for you to use durning your shoot. As well as flower crowns. We also have a small selection of girls gowns if you have a daughter you want to include in the session.

Our first year package includes 12 Sessions. One session every month: 1 Month thru Cake Smash. Each Session includes a 30 minute session with up to two backdrop sets and 25 high resolution digital photos.
Celebrate your child's birthday with a fun and sweet photo session. Tell us about your child's favorite toy, character or color scheme and we will create a custom set to match your theme. We offer the option of both indoor and outdoor photos. We have over 50 different standard sets to choose from and if these aren't what you are looking for we can create a custom set for you.

I contacted Austin about booking a surprise photoshoot for a friend getting ready to get married, got one email in response and then when I tried to submit my payment information, radio silence. I've called and emailed (using the same email thread and new ones) multiple times, left messages, etc. Very disappointed, really seemed like it would have been a perfect match with AZahn's photography style. Expected more professionalism. Hoping other clients have better luck.

I am really disappointed. I decided to get her 12 month package last year. In the beginning it was great. I was totally satisfied and recommended them to all my friends and family. However, in February I took my son for his smash cake session which I loved and decided to go all out and purchase all his pictures and order canvasses for his 1st Birthday. I knew his Canvases might not have arrived on time, but his pictures she just needed to send them to me. She didn’t do it that day, so I emailed her and texted. No response until days later. Long story short I received his pictures almost a week

I love our (photographer) Aunty Austin. Her editing and eye for beauty is exceptional. My daughters love seeing her every month and the pictures are always stunning. She is always able to pull a smile from my toddler even when she's grumpy. If anyone would like to see some of her work, I'll gladly show them (or you can look at most of my default profile pictures lol)

So happy we found a new born photographer that does the job correctly and professionally. She took the time our baby needed to be relaxed, didn't rush anything or force anything the vibe was really relaxing the entire shoot which help our baby be as calm as possible. They also work with you when picking out your packages and help you get what you want for a price that you are comfortable with. Will defiantly be back !

I hired Azahn Photography and it was such a disappointment. Austin was very unprofessional with me and lacked communication. It would take her weeks to get back to me even when I called daily. Austin also stood me up on my wedding without an explanation or apology. I hired her services and instead got her assistant when that was never the plan. Beware!

Austin does a great job taking pictures and has excellent customer service. I have worked with AZahn Photography on several weddings and have had nothing but a great experience. The brides love her and she is one of the few photographers that actually give you pictures when you ask for them. If you are looking for a wedding photographer she is a great one!

I wanted to hire someone who would do a beautiful and professional job. I was very happy with the results. This husband-and-wife team were very kind and experienced. They were organized and worked well within our schedule, making picture taking easy and fun. The photos were gorgeous and there was a high level of expertise in the photo and video editing.
