Jean R. Spencer and his wife Beverly started our family owned and operated construction company in 1977 under Contractors State Licence #340167. We started out building custom and spec homes, small apartments and doing remodel projects. We performed all the building trades ourselves to gain experience and become fully knowledgeable with all aspects of construction.
In the years that followed we built a reputation on that knowledge and the quality of work provided. In 1981 our business had grown and we incorporated under Constractors State License #412180. In 1993 we were contacted to solve a problem for a homeowner whose house was sinking. Jean and David, always looking for the next challenge and for ways to help someone, agreed to help the homeowner find a solution.

Great Customer service, gave them a call about my foundation concerns and David showed up right on time. Not only did he address all of my concerns, he educated me so that I fully understand what was going on. David was honest and very informative which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend J.R. Spencer Construction. They have been doing this for 41 years!

Dave Spencer has been more helpful than I could have ever imagined. I have gotten quotes to repair my home from two other companies, but Dave is clearly an expert in his field and cares very much about making sure our foundation is fixed and will stay that way, so we decided to go with him.
