Services
Raised in a small mid-west town, the daughter of a photographer, my life has always been filled with cameras, lights, and the art of photography. Naturally I followed footsteps and in 2002, a totally terrified teenager, moved to Santa Barbara, Ca to study Commercial Advertising Photography at Brooks Institute of Photography with an emphasis on fashion, people, and portrait photography as well as photo editing post-production.

I had the best experience working with Jessica for my daughter’s newborn photoshoot. From the moment she walked in the door she was professional, easy to work with (even when our daughter was not) and made us feel incredibly comfortable. Being able to stay home was a true blessing. After a few hours my daughter began to get fussy and she gave us all the time we needed to get her happy, fed and back to sleep! It was such an easy day!

I was looking for a new born photographer who would do the session at my place and luckily I got in touch with Jessica through google. I was a little worried as I have booked her based on reviews and not through any reference.. But all my worries were gone once she started the session. After she shared the pics I was awestruck! She is the best!!! Highly recommend her 🙂..

I booked a photo session with Jessica on Jan 16, 2017. I had some really good idea's on how I wanted things to look since it would be a mother/daughter shoot. Well, at the last minute I decided to make it a family shoot. She was VERY flexible and the shoot went flawlessly. She captured my idea and created the session I could only dream of!! My daughter was captured as the princess I see her as. Then my daughter and I had our sweet and silly photos which meant alot to me. She captured the rest of the family in the segments I wanted and she came up with the idea of the final family picture to look

We couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our newborn photos. Jessica came to our home and made the entire experience so easy and seamless. She had the magic touch with our son, too! The pictures turned out gorgeous. We absolutely loved the final product and enjoy sharing them with the family. They just "ooh" and "ahh" over them. We will definitely be using Jessica again for our family photography needs.

We selected Jessica as our photographer for the newborn photos of our little girl, Abby. We were very concerned about who we selected because our little girl would only be this little once, and we wanted our photos to be perfect. I am excited to say that we were extremely impressed!
To start with, I have never seen anybody who is this good with children, let alone newborns. One would think that she has a ton of kids of her own, because she was soooo patient and gentle. Jessica also had a ton of really great props to make the absolute cutest photos we have ever seen. And then there were the photos

We selected Jessica to take family photos in November 2012. She was very easy to work with and great with our 9 month old son. She helped us pick out a great location, and even though I somehow left my shoes at home on the day of the shoot, she managed to capture a ton of great shots of our family-- despite the fact that I was so frazzled. The photos came out beautifully, and we have received numerous compliments from friends and family on the images we used for our Christmas card. We will definitely use Jessica again in the future.

Jessica is a great photographer. The pictures she took of my newborn daughter came out beautifully! She was very patient and easy to chat with while we waited for my daughter to fall asleep (we were going for sleeping baby pictures). Overall, I had a good time and left feeling like I had made a new friend.
