The Family Chiropractic Center has been serving the Hunterdon County community since 1990. We practice with both traditional and light force methods so that almost everyone who wants to can experience the benefits of chiropractic care! We believe that health is amongst our most valuable possessions.
When we say we're the Family Chiropractic Center, we don't just mean we take care of families, or that our patients are like family - our office staff is, too! Betty has been with us since 1993. In addition to reception, Betty coordinates our News Letter, Welcome Wagon and Web efforts, as well as our product and patient educational materials.
The husband-and-wife team of Dr. John Dowling and Dr. Helen McWeeny-Dowling has many decades of combined experience caring for patients of all ages. Seeking to learn the approaches Dr. Mark had used in his practice, Dr. John trained with him for several years. Patients who have transitioned to Family Chiropractic Center have found that Dr. John's care is as close as it can be to Dr. Mark without being Dr. Mark.
While a Computer Science student, I was under regular chiropractic care for headaches and neck pain that had plagued me for years. On one of my visits, my chiropractor near the college, said to me, "How have you been doing?" And, without really thinking, I said, You know, it's a funny thing. I've had asthma and allergies all my life.
When I was 12, I began to suffer severe headaches and debilitating neck pain. I would wake up with excruciating pain, my head twisted to my shoulder and I wouldn't be able to move it. This happened several times a year and would take up to a week to get better. In between, I would get headaches so severe I couldn't get out of bed.

I have to say of twenty years I have been receiving chiropractic services I have never encountered such an unprofessional experience until I visited Family Chiropractic Center in Flemington. First and foremost let me start by saying that their fees are through the roof and much higher then other chiropractic offices. The standard initial visit/exam across the board if you do your research is between $125.00 and $150.00. Family Chiropractic charged me $300.00 for my first visit this is Unacceptable. As a part of my treatments I required the standard adjustment and ultrasound for a pinched nerve
