Our check engine light came on back in September. We used a code reader and got the codes and then it went out on its own. A few months later, it returned. Same codes and the information from the codes was beyond our capabilities. Took it in for repair and provided codes, however, the light had gone out again. They were able to get the history from the computer and were able to diagnose an issue. From drop off to pick up was 25 hours....AND....they gave me a loaner car. GREAT SERVICE!!!!

I went thanks to recommendation from two people I know who don't know each other.
I had let a lot of things go on my 2010 Honda Insight thanks to 200k of car wracking Baltimore streets. Steering, two broken wheel bolts, alignment, loose electrical connection resulting in no blower for a/c, heat, defrost.
Personable, professional, and reasonably priced. I'm much satisfied and will trust my car to them again.

I had an outstanding experience with this auto shop. I found this shop through Car Max car pal and I can understand why they are being sustained. The staff is friendly and professional. I had a significant repair involving re-welding new shock absorbers onto the frame of my vehicle. I went to several different mechanics, all of which replied they could not do this sort of work. Finally, I found Framerite.
I'm new to the area, and finding a trustworthy mechanic is a very tough feat. I waited to review the work for a solid two weeks just to make sure it upheld. The day after they fixed my vehicle, I made a 12-hour round trip to test out their work. It all held up perfectly.

So my wife's 2010 Sienna wearing out tires. Costco told us three were badly worn even though they had about 10k miles. This was after they rotated the tires and told us there could be a suspension problem and months after a front weld repair at a one-man garage on north point road. We were worried about the weld repair which possibly caused the tire wear. I went to Framerite for an inspection where they saw no welding issues ( although I now realize I should have gotten an alignment after the weld job) Framerite said the alignment would be somewhat more since shims were needed and plus

I have been going to the dealership I purchased my car from for a long time. After a lot of "mishaps" and issues, I decided to try somewhere new. After seeing the reviews for Framerite I decided to give them a try.
Normally at my dealership a full synthetic oil change would cost me roughly $80-100. Framerite quoted me for about $40-50 here. (I think it might have been 39.99 or 49.99, I can't quite remember.)
However, the staff was extremely professional, polite, and helpful. The job was done just a few minutes over the time they estimated. (An oil change was an hour, but they were also very busy

Very honest and caring. Bill advised us that we did not need brake work that Bob Bell, the Chevy dealer had told us. The Equinox is under warranty for oil changes. That is why it was at this dealer.
Bill has always been upfront and is honest. To top that off he has quality professional mechanics employed at Framerite. The folks there are top notched. I highly recommend them. The Chevy dealer wanted $1200 plus for brakes and to replace a boot by the front ball joint. None of these items were needed at this time.

Traveled from VA to buy a used car in Baltimore MD.
Got a last minute pre purchase car inspection done at Framerite for a AMAZING price!
They were nothing but accommodating and professional.
Their waiting room is old-fashion but the service is what really matters and they did incredible.
I would definitely come back here should the need ever arises!

Great honest, family feel business. I had MAJOR repairs done here and the car ran smoothly after that. Staff was very professional and the facilities are spotless and inviting, especially for an automotive place. We had rough schedules at the hospital and they stayed late so we could pick up our car. Very happy I found this place. I highly recommend!

Mr. Bill and his staff are FANTASTIC. I have been taking my car to Frame Rite for three years now and have always been more than satisfied with their prices, honesty, and generally great customer service. I've never been happier with an auto repair shop -- when my car needed a new clutch, I have to admit I checked with a couple of other shops locally just to see how their prices compared, but none offered a lower estimate, and with Frame Rite I was absolutely confident that the job was done properly and there would be no last-minute add-ons. Framerite is a decent place to bring your vehicle. They find the issue and fix it. I've been twice for a fuel pump and cam bolts. No issues since. A buddy of mine's had his engine replaced there. They do it all. They are pricey in my opinion. And, you have to hound Mr Bill for an estimate before he gets to involved. But, as a former service manager of a twelve bay garage and a "side" mechanic, this place rocks. They send "Thank You" cards handwritten after your service. And I received a $100 gift card in the mail over the holidays. This is a place you can trust in

From the moment I stepped in I was taken care of. Everything that my car needed was explained clearly (and its hard to be clear with my limited knowledge of cars). And a problem with the spring was discovered that had been completely overlooked by the dealer. Once the work was completed we got a follow up call, checking in to make sure everything was still running smoothly AND a thank you card in the mail. Such wonderful customer service and care for my car!

I travel the country as an insurance adjuster putting over 25,000 miles on per year and heard about Frame Rite Auto through Yelp. I have never received such excellent customer service for an oil change and inspection all over the country as I have at Frame Rite. They walked me through step by step of what they did and what may be potential things to keep an eye on in the future. If your traveling through and need an oil change or anything else stop there. If your a local, this place should be your home for all auto work.

I had three bad experiences with mechanics before taking my car to Frame Rite. It did not take them anytime to discover what was wrong with my vehicle and to have it running like new again. I was back on the road the same day that they looked at my car and I have not had any problems since. I will definitely go back to Frame Rite for all of my future repair needs and I recommend their services to anyone in need of auto repairs. I did not mind traveling across town to get to their shop (I live in Windsor Mill) because they were straight forward, they did not try to run my bill up with extra fees
