Instead, all aspects of the title and escrow process performed by CWT are completed in Chelan and Douglas counties by a detail oriented, experienced staff.

Title insurance provides protection should there be a defect in title, or if liens or other restrictions result in a claim against ownership.
A real estate signing typically takes an average of 30-45 minutes. If you are the seller of a home, your appointment will take less time than if you are a buyer/borrower who needs to sign a loan package. It is important to have photo identification at hand. Closing the real estate transaction is basically the investigation made or actions taken by either a title agent or title attorney before the actual issuance of the title policy. There are five basic steps that usually followed in somewhat the same order in every real estate transaction.

Although it is not the job of the title agent or title attorney to cure defects in or problems with the title to the property or perform escrow or other services outside of closing the transaction, title agents and title attorney help in these matters on a somewhat regular basis.A sales contract is signed by the buyer and seller and delivered to the closing agent, usually with a deposit check.

I have had the pleasure of doing four closing with Central Washington Title and I could not be happier.
One way to measure a business is how they perform when things don’t go smoothly. We had a complicated purchase (no fault of CWT) with quite a few small bumps along the way. The team maintained their professionalism and worked hard to make it all work out.

Anita was very condescending. Would not recommend her for sure.
Communication was terrible, didn’t include my wife, used slow regular mail instead of more modern methods like email. Had the wrong mailing address. We found out our home closed from realtor not escrow agent.
