Rochester Dental Center, was founded in 2000 by Dr. David Barts, a graduate of IU School of Dentistry. Dr. Dave has practiced Dentistry for over 25 years which lead him to build Rochester Dental into a fixture of the community synonymous with dental care. Recently, Dr. Dave was diagnosed with Lyme disease.
Lyme disease is typically from a tick bite and the tick insect carries multiple types of bacteria. Treatment consists of intense antibiotic treatment which can be tough on a patient. With this in mind, the Doctor will be stepping away from practice to focus on his health. When we looked for someone to take over the practice, who better than his own daughter Caitlin to carry on the tradition!

I have the biggest fear of dentists, with that being said the staff goes over and beyond making you feel comfortable. Also I love the small town feel and the care all of the staff takes with each patient. I couldn’t be happier with Dr. Cait, the office and staff! Thank you for your superb customer service!

I was looking for a new dentist and chose this one for being nearby and was impressed with their website. No regrets. I immediately felt comfortable upon my 1st visit. The atmosphere felt light and airy and my hygienist was great. The dentist, Caitlin, was very capable and welcoming. After my favorite dentist, Dr Van Osdol, retired...wasn't sure I'd find another as good. I believe this dentist and her staff is an excellent replacement. I look forward to continuing my dental care with Dr Caitlin Rich and her staff.
