You can do these four stretches before you get out of bed in the morning; first, both knees to the side, second knees to the chest, third a stretch for the gluts/piriformis/sciatica and a fourth one to help the muscles stabilize the back. Next, I go over a range of motion stretches flexion, extension, lateral bend to left & right, and rotation from left to right.
