A Florida native and a graduate of the University of South Florida, Paul launched his career in the construction industry in the early 1970's, eventually founding First Florida Construction. Paul built First Florida on his wealth of experience, dynamic creativity, and the same attention to detail that is required to build custom luxury homes.

Founded over 40 years ago, First Florida Construction has earned a reputation in the luxury building industry synonymous with integrity. Our project consisted of a major remodel and expansion of our home as well as the construction of a guest house on our property. We went through a process with our architect, where we reviewed three or four different bidders. Although First Florida was not the lowest bidder, it's bid was the most complete and transparent.

I have worked with First Florida for the past 5 years now. They have built my clients home, which caused me to have to communicate with them sometimes on a daily basis. They have an expedited way of solving problems. They think outside the box and are great to work with. The skill set and quality they provide cannot be matched. They have great follow through and most importantly they answer the phone!I highly recommend them you will not be disappointed.

We recently purchased a home in Vero Beach that had been built by First Florida Development in 2005/6. The home is of the highest quality. Shortly after we moved in we discovered a structural problem that was the result, we learned later, of the architect. We feared the worst.
I contacted FFD by email. The president of the company responded. Even though the problem was not of their doing, they found a cost effective solution and did the work quickly with a high level of craftsmanship.
