Dr. Paul Schmutz has been a practicing dentist for 30 years. After graduating from the University of Utah he attended the Medical College of Virginia Dental School, graduating in 1990 and has spent his career in the Salt Lake and Davis County areas. He has been in his current location going on 14 years and is very happy to be practicing in the same community where he lives, plays and serves.
Regular dental cleanings are critical to maintaining a healthy mouth! A professional cleaning by our dental hygienist removes plaque, leaving you with a beautiful smile. It is also a great way to prevent gingivitis and gum disease. Or, if you need more of a deep cleaning, our hygienist is an expert at periodontal gum cleaning, scaling, and root planing.

I was refused service in the office even though they knew I was in extreme pain. They ignored me for an hour and then told me..the receptionist and Dr. Schmutz, that they couldn't give me service and that I would have to go to the homeless clinic. I couldn't believe that although I promised to pay even though I didn't have insurance, they would turn me away. Heartless.
