In order to visualize and measure the upper neck alignment in a way that allows us to have pinpoint accuracy, we utilize the most state-of the-art 3D imaging for our patients. We are the the only chiropractic office in San Ramon to utilize this technology in patient care.

Unlike traditional X-RAYs that take multiple 2-D images to attempt to view the 3-D human structure, the Cone Beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a specialized type of X-RAY that can view the Cranio-Cervical Junction (CCJ) in 3 Dimensions (3-D).The imaging beam is a 'cone-like' formation that is moved around the patient to produce the highest quality images of bone.

In the vast majority of cases that make their way to our practice, often as referrals from other chiropractors or medical doctors in the area, is a significant Structural Shift. These Structural Shifts are the underlying cause that often reveal themselves as "symptoms"- or what we refer to as Secondary conditions.

While no one is structurally perfect, there is a normal healthy range. In the same manner, we can understand what a fever is because we know what the normal temperature is, or what constitutes high blood pressure because we are aware of the normal range. There are established normals everywhere we look, including gauges and warning indicators on the dashboard of your car.

After a consultation with the doctor, a prospective patient may elect to proceed to our Structural Restoration examination. The examination may also be scheduled for a later time if you so choose. As always, the decision is yours and there is never any pressure. The Structural Restoration examination is comprehensive, which means you should safely plan on allotting no less than 45 minutes of your time.

There are a wide variety of treatment options offered by medical and alternative medicine practitioners. Most doctors are focused on pain and symptom management, and they do an excellent job.
