Dr. Carissa Greinel-Blum is a native New Mexican. Born in Santa Fe, she attended the University of New Mexico and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. She earned her Doctorate degree in dentistry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.
Carissa practiced general dentistry for almost six years in the Washington, DC area where she excelled in her field and gained the respect of her patients, employer, and colleagues and was awarded the honor of President's Club with Heartland Dental in 2012.Dr. Greinel-Blum decided to return to Albuquerque to be close to home, her extended family and red chili.

The most important reason for recommending this practice is the quality of care. Dr Montes is a very skilled clinician and does excellent work. I can say this because I was in the dental business for 40 years. The hygienist (Amy) is very gentle and through. They run on time, they explain everything, I could go on and on. Great practice!!!

I came to try and arrange a cash discount for paying in cash for the treatment plan that had already been created.
Not only did you not agree to accepting the free that you would receive via the Vantage agreement you have and help me save some money but you charged me $100 for being inflexible.
I won't be back and i will be very vocal about why.

Rude staff, unprofessional front desk receptionist (male). When I scheduled my appointment the individual I spoke with was very professional and pleasant. I did arrive late and offered to reschedule, the first question by the female that opened the door was… “you didn’t bring your paperwork?” Not, good afternoon, hello, hi. Nothing. I’m ushered in. Already not feeling welcomed. Then the male desk clerk hands me a clip board and instructs me how to fill it out. Again, no &ldquo

We’ve been going here for several years and unfortunately the service that attracted us here is no more. The hygienist and staff turnover rate is surprising and ever since the hygienists and dentists have changed the service has become ridiculous. Every time myself, my husband or children have an appointment the staff insists on trying to sell us on every single thing they can think of. Not to mention the cost for our self-pay cleanings is now near $200 ... without X-rays and fluoride.
