The purpose of the Journeyman Technician is to have a highly trained and knowledgeable employee able to diagnose, inspect, repair, service and/or overhaul vehicle problems and maintenance. All Journeyman Technicians must be able to clearly demonstrate their physical and mental ability to perform services as well as detailed minor repairs.

I would highly recommend Central Florida Transmission Repair. I just moved down to Florida to attend College and just bought a car. I was told that the car had no issues but within the first couple of days, the car's transmission started to act up. I was searching around for a good transmission place and heard that Central Florida Transmission was a honest place that would treat you fairly.

My 1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ started having serious issues with the transmission and I was faced with making a big decision with over 280K miles in. Everything else in the car had been fixed or replaced and with used car prices thru the roof I decided to consider holding onto it…plus it’s an XJ!

I have to give this place 5 stars. Went in for a suspected transmission issue, so made an appointment to have a trans service, and after testing my truck and talking with me, Mike made an honest call on what he thought the trans service would accomplish. Instead of charging me for work that wasn't necessary, directed me to a diagnostics place to learn the true meaning of why my trans was acting up. Instead of making a quick buck and charging me for unnecessary work, he was honest, professional, and upfront. I feel not many places take this kind of pride in their professionalism and would have taken

My amazing mechanic at jv muffler and tires recommended this place because they don't do transmission work. I trust my mechanic so I trusted them! They did not disappoint!!! I got a rebuild for a great price and in just under a week!! I was quoted much higher and with a longer turn around time at a handful of other places. I will definitely be back in the future if needed!!
