Dr. Craig Foisie grew up in Canton, CT and attended the Loomis Chaffee School. He went on to receive a BS in biology from Brown University in 1998, where he played water polo for 4 years at the NCAA Division I level. After Brown, he attended Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2003.

Every person I encountered at this practice was kind and efficient. Dr. Oaks and her assistant could not have been nicer. It was my first implant and I was scared. They made it simple, easy, and painless! They checked how I was doing every step of the way. They were thorough and precise. I had nothing to be so nervous about! I’m very pleased with my experience there and would not hesitate to recommend them. We are so lucky to have such a great practice in our area.

I've been going to River Valley Periodontics for about 18 months and have been very happy with every visit. The staff/nurses are always pleasant and greet you with a smile, they have also taken the time to answer any questions I've had thoroughly. I have had several very deep cleanings and 2 surgeries and they go out of there way too make them as easy and stress free as possible. Dr. Matt Canter is very open, friendly, and seems to genuinely care about his patience. He even gave me his personal cell phone after my first surgery and told me to call him anytime. I would definitely recommend River

I was referred by my dentist as my usual periodontist wasn't opening due to COVID. I'm so glad for the referral. Dr. Miller was fabulous in listening to me, thorough in obtaining my history and in his exam. He explained his findings and discussed courses of treatment in layman terms; made sure to answer questions and discussed all options. All staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with.

I recently had an Implant performed by Dr. Lee Cantner to replace the loss of my right incisor tooth. I also had my teeth cleaned by hygienist, Darla this November. I have been a patient of this practice for the last forty year. I am pleased with all my services received. The staff is always professional and helpful. I recommend to all my family and friends.
