Tricia attended Middlesex College and graduated with a degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She recently completed her bachelor of science degree in hygiene at O'Hehir University. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has 23 years of experience in the field. Providing the highest level of care for our patients is her priority.
Most cases of periodontal disease are treatable using minimally invasive procedures, such as scaling and root planing or gum surgery. However, a periodontal disease that has been allowed to progress can result in deteriorated bone beneath the gums. When bone is destroyed by gum disease, it can no longer adequately support the teeth, eventually leading to total tooth loss.
Dr. Michael Lee is only one of a handful of dual specialists in the nation trained in providing both the surgical and restorative aspects of dental treatment. With his expertise and guidance, you can develop a comprehensive dental plan and ultimately make informed, confident decisions. Why is this important?
The most important benefit of an intraoral scanner is improving patient experience. We have all been to the dental office and have needed to take a traditional impression. It is a serious problem for people who have a severe gag reflex or a fear of choking. Imagine being able to have a digital scan of your teeth instead!
Our Middletown, New Jersey family dental office provides Invisalign to our patients. Invisalign is a unique state-of-the-art orthodontic therapy that straightens teeth without the use of metal brackets or wires. Instead, Invisalign uses a series of plastic alignment trays similar in appearance to a clear retainer.

This is the best dental practice I have ever gone to. I was referred to this practice about 15 years ago by a friend who was a retired dental hygienist and who said this was top notch. Everyone is warm, caring and friendly. My teeth look and feel great! Trish is a wonderful hygienist that truly cares about the health of my teeth. From front desk to dental chair everyone is awesome!

Was a very positive experience. Would rate it a five star. Everyone is so nice and pleasant to deal with and very professional. When you walk in the door and are greeted by Alicia, you're treated like family, and then everyone else, from Wendy to Mary to Joanie, who's the best hygienist are so wonderful and nice. Then to top it off there's Dr. Michael Lee and when done with him , one realizes that you're in good hands. Pinehurst Dental is terrific !!!!

I love the staff at Pinehurst especially my hygienist, Trish Thomson. She is so pleasant, caring, and professional. I always feel so comfortable and reassured after my visit. Dr. Lee and his staff are nothing short of amazing. Everyone treats you as if you have been going there for years. You always feel welcomed and taken care of. I have never had such a good cleaning before. They take the time and explain everything to you each step of the way. Was going to the same dentist for over 20 years before switching to Dr. Lee. Him and his staff are beyond amazing. I didn’t know what clean teeth truly felt like before visiting Pinehurst Dental.
