Vic Nixon grew up in Fredericksburg, attended Sul Ross University for his BBA, and then returned to his hometown to start a family, helped manage the family peach orchards and worked as a land surveyor. Vic began his real estate career as a sales agent in 1973, and continued to work as a surveyor, when he, his dad, and his wife opened Nixon Real Estate in 1977.
