Do you know how badass you have to be to do your engagement photos at The House on the Rock?! I was already excited to photograph Nate and Ariel (Nate is a longtime friend of mine!) before they let me know they'd like pictures at the most bizarre place. The photographers for the day were Brian Slawson and Luke Wein.

Nick and Jackie invited me out to Pewaukee Lake for their engagement session along with Nick's daughter Izzy. It's a favorite place of theirs that they like to visit especially in summer. And my goodness, that sunset over the lake. I'm pretty sure it was one of the top.

When Grace and Nick told me they wanted to do engagement photos at The American Club in Kohler, WI I loudly said "Wooo!" I've shot a few corporate events there and absolutely love the space.We met up at Ravine Park which is one block away. We took some. Upon photographing a couple for the first time, I never know if they are going to go along with my crazy ideas.

The base investment starts at $3,100 + tax. That includes me as your photographer for 8 hours of wedding day coverage, a second photographer, a short engagement shoot, an online gallery, and a USB drive with all the beautiful edited photos on it. The portrait investment is 350 + tax. That includes a 1-2 hour photo shoot, all the edited images, and a free 8*10 luster finish print.
