This will be my last year with ACT, having used them for several years. Upon coming to the firm I was naive about business and accounting. Tina Mo tried to get me to sign up for an extremely expensive “membership” program they were trying to roll out. Would’ve cost me about $3500 upfront and over $500 a month. That’s close to what ended up being the annual profit of my extremely small business. Completely unethical move, in my opinion. My tax preparer is condescending and shrill with me every tax season. I cannot say enough good things about ACT Services. I've been through three accountants before I found them, and I was nervous to use them (because, you know, it can be hard to find a good accounting firm). Man, I am so glad I took a chance on them. I simply love these guys. Their services are always top-notch and right on the money. They take the time to make sure the job is done right the first time. I have been a client of Tina's at ACT since 2009. They have always been courteous and knowledgeable towards anything relating to my tax preparation. Sure you could save a few bucks by going to a place like HR Block, but to me it is worth every penny to have peace of mind knowing something as important as taxes are being handled truly professionally. Sadly in this day and age you don't get what you pay when it comes to customer service, but I have always had quality service from ACT and would not hesitate to recommend to anybody.
