As women we spend a great deal of time nurturing and caring for those around us, though we often fall short in taking the best care of ourselves. Increasing demands, expectations and stress have many of us on autopilot struggling to manage our day to day lives. Unmanaged stress can ultimately result in increased levels of anxiety, depression, physical illness, disconnection and burnout.
In other words, it gets worse unless we do something about it. Life has its really challenging times for us all. Our stress can be acute (short-term, sudden) or chronic (long-term, persistent); regardless of where you are in the continuum I can help! Asking for help in our overwhelming moments can be difficult, but finding the courage within is the first step to creating the life you desire.

My passion is helping women and teen girls believe, connect, heal, learn, love, persist, open, balance, trust, transform and most importantly shine! It is what we perceive, how we think and what we choose to do when faced with life's challenges that determine our overall sense of well-being. I specialize in empowering and supporting my clients so they can overcome obstacles and thrive in their everyday lives.
It is my belief that each person that enters my office is unique with an extraordinary story to tell. My practice specializes in providing individual counseling and psychotherapy for women and teen girls. My therapeutic style is warm, supportive, interactive and wholehearted. I am committed to providing a safe space for clients to trust, learn, heal and grow.
Psychotherapy is an investment you make in yourself. It is an opportunity to make yourself and your well-being a priority. We can mindlessly spend money on a whole lot of things that don't really matter in the big picture. As women and caregivers, many of us are used to putting everyone else on the priority list except ourselves.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the courage to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. In our work together, I'll help you explore and identify your strengths and how to implement them to reduce the influence of the problems you are facing. The difference is between someone who can do something, and someone who has the training and experience to do that same thing professionally.
