Ashly joined the Nayar & McIntyre LLP team in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a legal assistant at a non-profit, Hope Services Center, and prior to that was a customer service representative for USCIS.
In addition to overseeing the day to day management of the firm, Ashly assists the attorneys with a wide range of complex immigration cases, including deportation defense, family immigration petitions, consular processing, waivers of inadmissibility, and naturalization applications.Her passion for immigration law continues to grow as she works alongside families to help them remain united.

Ms. Maria McIntyre was born near Columbus, Ohio in 1975. Her mother is of Vietnamese descent and immigrated to the United States in the late 1960s. Ms. McIntyre has resided in the Dallas- Fort Worth area since childhood. She graduated with honors from Texas Christian University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science.

I am a South African who married a US citizen, and Lakshmi handled my sponsored green card case. The entire process took about a year (2019-2020) which is quite fast. Without her we would have had a harder time getting this done as it is is difficult to get the correct information and navigate the process if you have never done it before. She was always available to answer questions and explained every step of the process clearly well in advance.
