At Stephen H. Hagler LLC, we represent individuals throughout Georgia with divorce and other domestic issues, wills and estate planning, probate and guardianship matters, and in Social Security Disability concerns. Stephen Hagler has been serving the Augusta area since 1991 and has the required legal knowledge and necessary skills to get the best results possible.
The process of obtaining Social Security benefits can be complex. It includes filling out numerous forms and obtaining the necessary medical records and reports, which may seem manageable, but often becomes quite overwhelming and burdensome. There is a lot of work involved in the process. The entire process takes time.

Services
Do you want to learn more about the difference between hiring a lawyer to handle your Social Security claim, rather than a non-lawyer representative? Do you want to know how we can move you through the process as efficiently and effectively as possible, striving to get you the SSDI or SSI benefits you need to move forward with your life?
Stephen H. Hagler has been representating people in the Central Savannah River (CSR) in Georgia and South Carolina in areas of Social Security Disability, family and domestic law, and probate and wills. If you need help obtaining Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), you want someone on your side who is trained and experienced with the laws that pertain to the Social Security system.
At Stephen H. Hagler LLC, we provide legal representation to those requiring Social Security Disability guidance, family law assistance and estate planning help. Stephen Hagler has been practicing law since 1991, and he knows what is required for you to succeed. If you have a family, Social Security, or wills and trusts matter that needs to be addressed, we can answer your questions.
Social Security disability (SSD) benefits (also referred to as Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) benefits) are available to disabled people in Georgia and South Carolina who have paid into the Social Security system. Eligibility is limited to people who have paid into the system within a certain time frame.
The Social Security administration has compiled a listing of impairments that includes 14 different categories of disabilities. If your disabling disease or injury falls into one of the 14 categories, you may be eligible for Social Security disability insurance (SSDI) or supplemental security income (SSI).

Mr. Hagler and his associate prepared our wills, powers of attorney and medical directives. We had completed their questionnaire prior to our appointment. During the appointment he reviewed them with us to ensure there were no uncertainties; and (patiently) answered all of our questions. Afterwards, we were emailed drafts for review and follow up questions/comments were handled via email. Two weeks following the first meeting we met again to sign the documents and left with all in our possession. All in all it was a pleasant and painless process.

My mother died and on a very short notice Stephen helped me to get into probate court before I had to leave the state for a job. He answered many questions I had even though I asked the same ones again. As far as value his price for what I needed done was $1,500 cheaper than another local attorney.

He assisted my husband and me with our original wills. After my husband's sudden death, he assisted me with probate. Since then, he has assisted me with two updates. In every case, he has been thorough, knowledgeable, and highly professional. But he's also friendly and relaxed and puts you at ease. I would highly recommend.

Stephen is the best attorney I have ever dealt with. He's kind, honest, fair and really listens to what I have to say. He takes time to explain things I don't understand. I recommend him to any person looking for representation in any matter. Great guy with a great staff!
