I received my MASTERSHIP and DIPLOMATE certificate for implants from International Dental Implant Association. DentiStar has been a consulting office for Hiossen Implant Company since 2018. I don’t want to give even one star for this location.
Receptionist is terrible. I made appointment for regular scaling. The other employee no greeting, seems like bored toward patient. After appointment, wait 50min, nobody care in this location. I complained to receptionist, what she said, “doctor works like this how can I do?” Speechless. Don’t go here it is wasting time, I think I was more waiting if I would stay more. Terrible

Today was my first day I had a very nice experience in a dentist office. I had my wisdom tooth extracted and Dr.Lee was very experienced and professional. My painful tooth was gone in just 3 minutes. I was truly impressed by the service. The staff was very friendly. The prices are also very affordable. Will come again.

I've had number of terrible experiences when I went to other dentists in Chicago suburbs, who always recommended to do other stuffs that were not necessary just to charge me more.
After I found Dentistar, my biased feeling about dentist, changed completely.
Dr. Shin and his staffs do great job; painless dental care and knew exactly what he was doing. Any dental treatment could involve pain but Dr.Shin knew almost exactly what pain level to expect as treatment was given.
Their rate is very reasonable although not the LOWEST. IMO, price is probably not the most important factor but what really

I've been going in for regular cleanings at Dentistar for about 2.5 years now and I've had nothing but professional, friendly service. My grade school daughter also comes with me and they're great about explaining what she's about to experience/try to accommodate with kids movies. I can't say going to the dentist is "fun" but I think the staff here makes it as painless as possible.
The receptionist is bilingual so it makes things easier if you prefer English or Korean. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in the chair and go through the routine

Totally not recommend this place. I went there just to get a simple cleaning procedure and the Doctor Only cleaned partial teeth and told me cleaning is done. He spent like 15 mins approximately. He even cut my gum little bit with that cleaning machine and didn't say anything about it. He never apologized to me. Very unprofessional and I never went back to dentistar since my first visit.

Had appointment with dentistar for dental exam on aug.18 at 2.30pm,the day before they called me to tell that I have to pay 60$ for exam.I gave them insurance information when I made appointment but they waited 9 days to tell me exam is not covered by insurance,when I call insurance they said it is covered with no copay but this people want more money on top of what insurance pay,very dishonest money hungry people who will take advantage of anybody to squeeze few $ ,do not go there not a honest business
