This automobile service shop is the most honest I have ever dealt with in my 39 years of driving. No scams here. My Grand Cherokee was mis-diagnosed as having a bad cylinder head by the dealership, who gave me a $5,000 quote to replace. I got a second opinion here and it turned out the truck just had a clogged fuel injector. Now this is the only place I take my vehicles. Highly recommend.

I originally started taking my Mercury Mountaineer here when I moved to Old Bridge two years ago. When I had to get new vehicles I took my new Honda's here. I chose Thrust because they have high reviews and were close to our place.
I started losing trust in their services shortly after they tried to overcharge me for a simple repair I ended up being able to easily do myself. This made me aware of their potential for future dishonesty.

Figured I would give them a shot since they are a local business. Used their online form and provided detailed information on what I was looking to have done. Response recieved 5 days later - granted there was a weekend in between but it took 5 days to say, I can't answer your question bring it in? I already had the work done in the time it took to just get a response.

Thrust performance has a ton of reviews, all good i can see. Ill tell ya this much based on my experience. I went here on a busy sat morning, and there was people inside, out side. He was getting hammered. I had an exhaust leak on an old f150 and was told its going to be a good 1000 or so, and to go check an exhaust place. I called mike, he said come down early and while he was busy, he came out, got on the floor, inspected my truck the best he could and asked if i can set up time to leave it. That there showed what a good person he was bc he still gave me allot of time even thou he was super busy

Very friendly staff and services the price was a bit more than I was expecting but I received top quality
I even received a warranty for my run flat tires because of the potholes

Worst shop I've ever been too! First off very unprofessional! Had no papers stating what the total price was going to be for the car at all it was all over the phone which was very unprofessional. THAN the mike over the phone said the first total was going to be $120 for just my power steering hose and the labor because all he did was seal it . Than he calls me back and says he has to put a new hose on it and I said okay. Next day I get a call from another guy in the shop telling me the full price and I said okay I asked if they could look if u needed a tune up and they said sure! All I needed

This place was recommended by my neighbor, I brought 3 cars there one a high end BMW .Mike is incredible he definitely knows cars,knowledgeable and he does not use cheap ,2nd hand or junkyard parts.He also is upfront and honest unlike most car shops especially the Dealerships.He stands behind his work,my son had an issue and he was quick to resolve it .He has worked on my wife's car and my sons car.Highly recommend this shop straight forward no bs. The owners are stand up and honest people that live up to their word I have bought 2 used cars from them and both were great if something broke on the cars and it was in a reasonable amount of time of when you bought it, they would stand behind it and fix the car and make it right. STAY FAR AWAY from this SHOP!!!!! Seriously. I ordered brand new wheels and tires for them to instal (see attached pics) and scratched and CHIPPED my rim. The owner could care less and the employees tried to put blame on me. My wheels were brand new and defect free 10000% percent before bringing to them.
Owner tried to blame me saying I brought it in damaged when I checked the condition before giving the wheels to the shop. The center inner rim is damaged from there machine (see attached picture ) , how can I damage the inner center wheel ?
This shop does not care one bit and would never go

Been coming here for since 2012 with 3 cars for anything I cant do myself such as tire installation or repairs i dont feel like doing. They are experience mechanics that shares a passion for cars. They muffler/exhaust repairs because salt in NJ destroys metal under your car. They have a touchless tire mounting machine that wont scratch your nice wheels. They can price match online tire prices too and still offers manufacturers rebates when available. When you buy tires and have thrust install them. they will give you free rotations. hourly rate is reasonable.

Honest people here that won't take advantage of you. And that's a rarity among auto repair places. Another garage quoted me a ridiculous price. Mike quoted me a much lower price and I didn't need half the work the other place said I did. Would

My vehicle has been experiencing poor acceleration and gear shifts. Brought the car to a shop where they tried to hose me for a transmission replacement.
So glad I chose to get a second opinion at Thrust Performance.
Mike and his crew were able to quickly identify the root cause being just a clogged catalytic converter. They made the necessary repair within a couple of hours and I was back on the road. Thanks, guys! I will be back for my future car repair needs.

Another great experience with the team at Thrust. A mechanic with integrity, doesn't get any better than that.
Referred my sister to come see Mike after she was worried she was being "misled" by another shop. Her listening to her little brother saved her a couple hundred dollars. I'm sure Thrust will be her first stop next time. Great job guys!!

I recently purchased a set of "Diamond Black" (gloss black) wheels for my car. These wheels (for my particular car) are special order from Japan and can take months to receive, so I needed a reputable shop to handle mounting tires onto these wheels without damage.

These guys are on point! If you have Powdercoated wheels or wheels that need extra care bring your wheels here. Had a bad experience with my expensive powdercoated wheels getting scratched at another shop. Recently potholes destroyed 2 of my tires brought them to Thrust to be mounted and balanced and saw the machines they use and these are the best machines you can find. They are also a top rated tirerack installer. Save yourself the frustration and go to these guys, no BS at this shop either. Hard to find this kind of honesty. Thanks guys!
