Yo . If you need honest mechanic work . Come here ! Every time i bring a car to a mechanic, they diagnose my car with out even touching it . Here at drive works . These guys show you , point out the problem & they actually work on the car today in front of you ( well depends ) . I didn’t go In for much but still I’ve been to other places for minor things and couldn’t get my car back till next day . Took them like under 40 mins for todays issue .

Mohammed and his crew worked on my car. I took it to replace my tires and change my oil, he informed me that my battery is bad and it's leaking acid and my 2 front brakes are worn out and one of my brake lights is out and recommends that I take care of everything all on one shot and he will give me a deal. I paid about 1,000 for everything, come to pick up the car, I noticed that he never changed the brake light and my car is now vibrating on the highway. I call him back to tel him what happens he tells me he has job idea what I'm talking about and to bring it back for him to relook at

So, i got a flat on my way to the science museum. It was a Sunday, and a bunch of spots were closed. I call drive works, their open, and when i get there, my man that answered the phone got up and actually patched my tire, i was out of there in 20 min. Fast and cheap. Got me out of a jam and i'm chillin at home cuz of them. Thanks driveworks

I would not recommend them. High pressure salesman. And quality of work is questionable. Also tries to distract you with other issues when you're addressing an issue about their repair work. Paid over $800 for front suspension work and my car is driving a little worse after the repair work was done.

My husband bought our 2010 Ford Escape there on June 27th of 2019 for a new air conditioner. The owner said we needed a new compressor and the warranty would last a year. Five weeks later the air conditioner stopped working again. When we returned the car to them, the owner told my husband that the compressor has no warranty because a switch was not purchased with it. We were never told this. He then informed us that we would need to pay $331 for the switch to get the new compressor. We paid $661 for air conditioning that only worked for five weeks. I didn't notice my semi-flat front tire when I left my parking spot but a few blocks later it was flat. Luckily I was at the light on the corner of Bergen & Communipaw so I pulled into Driveworks. They pumped up & checked my tire, it was some freak accident. I had checked the tire pressures the day before & I guess the internal valve opened up so it leaked all night.
I knew I needed front brakes but kept putting it off. They gave me what seemed like a fair price & replaced them. Then at no cost they checked my flat tire & added air to all 4... I thought the service

Would not recommend. I went for an oil change, which was a great price. Once they finished the oil change he said I needed new front break pads and new break pads and rotors for the back. So I got nervous and I called another mechanic (That I know) for a second opinion right after I left. The mechanic said everything was in perfect condition and I had a lot more life left of the break pads and rotors and didn't need anything for a long long time. They thought just because I was a young girl they could get away with lying to me and try to get a couple hundred out of me. Complete scammers. Genuine

It was my first time here. They helped me out at 630pm when everyone else was closed. They repaired my brakes rotors and a caliper that was seized. The owner went out of his way and stayed late to get the job done. Great service and an overall good experience. They also gave me the tv remote to watch netflix while i waited which was cool.

I came here 2 weeks ago for a brake service. Honestly I looked it up after service began and was a bit concerned with the location ratings. However there was plenty of cars around and seemed like a reliable shop. So far the work was good, with no issues. The service wait was moderate and staffs seemed knowledgeable and friendly.

Best service for the lowest prices. Elias and Louie diagnosed the problem with my car within minutes and my friends couldn't believe the price they gave me to fix it. People told me that they've spent more money on just the parts at other shops. Service was quick and I was treated like a person, not just a number. Don't believe the bad reviews on this place. I've heard that the surrounding shops are doing it because these guys are taking all of their business, and it's the only thing that they can do to stay in business.

I had to give them 1 star, because that's the minimum to write a review. They deserved nothing possible -5 stars. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I had the unfortunate idea to stop by this shop, because i was doing some paperwork near by on May 19th. I only requested to change the break pads, i was coming from a trip to Canada. They started working right away, but Elia approached me to let me know i had a oil leak, also the suspension control arms were worn out and my front shocks were old.
