You cannot cancel your policy with them I tried 3 times and have been waiting for 6 weeks for a refund. I have filed a complaint with the Michigan Insurance Commissioners Office to get American Modern Insurance ability to sell insurance in Michigan revoked. Do yourself a favor steer clear of this company.

LESSON LEARNED!!!
1. I contacted this company to cancel my policy because I was moving. It was VERY DIFFICULT and time consuming to get past the computer system to speak to a human being.
2. When I finally got through, the customer service rep told me she couldn't process a cancellation in advance, but she could back date a cancellation. She said I should call back after I move or just don't pay the renewal bill when it comes.
3. I received the renewal and mailed it backed with a signed, dated note requesting cancellation.
4. After I moved (7/21/18), I called customer service only to find out
