I believe it is imperative that as counselors we work diligently to help clients identify, accept, and work through their limiting ideas. I believe that my personal work and advanced education combine to create a down-to-earth and genuine love-based approach that my clients will benefit from. I am confident that my clients will be clearly and concretely shown that they can change their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

There will ALWAYS be people who disagree with their therapists or take issue with what is said in any given session. Good therapy, sound therapy starts with listening first, asking questions, providing thoughtful suggestions, and shining light on emotionally charged situations.
Andy does this and more. His experience and advice changed the trajectory of my life. Was it magic? Absolutely not. To make changes in your life, you have to do the work. Great counselors, such as Andy, are life coaches. They give you advice, sometimes push boundaries, and subconsciously plant seeds. Seeds that need time

Yelp is interesting. You can take certified 3-Star Michelin-rated restaurants, the best of the best, and you will still find people who give those a 1-star review.
Reviews for counseling are not much different. You can take two people, put them with the same counselor and get two different experiences.
The fact is, most people will not take the time to write about an experience if it meets their expectations. However, they will write about it if they have an ax to grind. Unequivocally, Andy and his practice are one of the best you will find in the Atlanta area.

Im heartbroken to have to update my review to a 1 star, but I felt the obligation to warn others so they dont have to have the same trauma experience as I did.
The last couple visits I had with Twyla, I had some really deep breakthroughs and in one of them, I was crying and she kept interrupting me and tried to tell me to calm down.
I thought this was kind of a weird thing for a therapist to say, but I tried as calmly as I could to please tell her to give me a minute so I can just get all of this out. Well apparently you're not allowed to talk back to the therapists at Warncke or they will

My therapist was very helpful up until she demonstrated boredness and annoyance at my problems. Lindsey Richards would yawn when I'd be in tears or in despair and she showed carelessness whenever I would try to change my appointment dates. At one point she told me that I was not making an improvement and how I was pretty much wasting her time and my time. It's very hurtful to hear that from a therapist who I am paying to see weekly. I'm not sure if this is her calling.

My review is solely based on one therapist at this practice, Kelli Spencer. I had gone to two other therapists (at other locations) prior to seeing Kelli. I had almost given up hope but decided to try one more therapist. That was over a year & a half ago and it was probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Kelli has gently guided me through so many different events in my life. She has continously fostered a safe and stable place for me to be open. As soon as you begin to talk, she is instantly engaged and focused on what you are saying. She offers different types of therapies while
