Dr.Motz is wonderful! All the staff is very personable and welcoming! I didn’t go to the dentist for a long time because of prior bad experiences but I love going here once I found this place almost a year ago! This place gave me a beautiful smile and my confidence back.The hygienist always remember you and what you talk about and always ask how things are when they see you next. As a whole this place is amazing all around. Best dentist ever!

If you have TMJ/grinding/clenching issues please do not go here and see an actual TMJ specialist. I had an ill fitting mouth guard that I’ve been continuously getting “adjusted” for the past year at this office that has both exacerbated my existing TMJ to the point where I am having a hard time eating/sleeping and now I have a cracked tooth and the ligaments around my teeth are stretched out. My face has honestly never felt worse. I asked if I could do anything about it and the dentist I was seeing simply told me “no” and that I just had to deal with how bad it was.

Monocacy Valley Dental was like a breath of fresh air! Their office is clean, professional, and best of all they have a dentist dog! You wouldn’t even know he’s there unless he was sitting right under you. Such a sweet pup!
After constant headaches at my last dentist, I am so happy to have finally found my go-to place. I have never been so happy to go to the dentist! Everyone here is simply spectacular!

Thank you Dr. Brian Motz & company for another painless & positive dental experience! I've been coming to this practice since the days of you & Dr. Paul Gauthier and have never had a problem! Each treatment plan is discussed & weighed. You've always had my best interests at heart & never steered me wrong. Dr. Motz squeezed me in last year when I fell, broke 2 teeth & chipped 1. He had me smiling again in no time. Believe me, with Dr Motz & crew you'll won't have dental anxiety again!

Please do not go to this office. The customer service from the office manager is terrible. (Ashley is her name) The rest of the staff is not much better. The dental work is average, and may cause you to make several appointments for them to get it right. The payment process, they charged my insurance company twice for the same service, but before they did that, they charged me $1,000 for services that my insurance company told them they would cover at 100%. I paid because they stated it was a deductible. Expecting that I would get it back after they received full payment from the insurance company

When all the staff and doc are so friendly that you want to be friends outside of the office...I'll keep my healthy teeth please! Great office, clean, professional, and so gentle but "get down to it" with your mouth. Highly recommend and the office pup is an added bonus to the visit. I finally enjoy going to the dentist.

If it was possible, I would have given 10 stars! I have always struggled with severe anxiety at dental offices for various reasons. Today was my first visit with Dr. Motz and his staff, and I literally couldn't say enough positive things about them! They absolutely made me feel so comfortable and were so compassionate and caring! The cute therapy dog is such an added bonus! Thank you to the Monocacy Valley Dental team!
