Dan is the founding member of the DeFio Law Firm PLLC, with offices in both Syracuse and Baldwinsville, NY. Dan earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Oswego State University. Building on his accounting experience, Dan continued his studies at Albany Law School, where he graduated cum laude in 1998, where he earned an honors concentration in the field of Estate Planning.

My aunt wanted to set her affairs in order. Dan was suggested to us by aunt's attorney who was retiring. Dan was great. Listened to our situation and gave numerous options and completely explained each one. No rushing or pressure to do anything. He really wants what's the best for his clients. Dan was a pleasure to take care of aunt's affairs. I highly recommend him. I'm not easily impressed, but Dan is impressive.

We recently had Dan draw up a new will for us. Since we did this during the pandemic, we couldn't meet in his office but rather did it all by email and zoom. He made everything so easy and guided us through all the paperwork. He made sure we understood what we were signing. We would highly recommend him for your estate planning.
