Modern Craft Construction is a boutique residential remodeling and construction company located in San Francisco. Our mission is to restore and revitalize homes into modern, luxurious living spaces, while maintaining the aesthetic charm and character that San Francisco architecture is known for. We specialize in all phases of residential remodeling, additions, renovations and seismic upgrades.
Modern Craft Construction has had the pleasure of working on a wide variety of home renovations in San Francisco. Our projects have included kitchen remodels, staircases and custom-built cabinetry, to full full remodels of traditional homes. In each, we create homes with a more modern feel, while maintaining aesthetic integrity.
Mike and Michelangelo hired on Modern Craft to do a full remodel of their 1886 Victorian single family home in Duboce Park. The clients' desire for the remodel was to renovate the building with more modern features and design, while preserving some of the original Victorian architecture. To begin, the team would need to reconfigure the space to produce an open kitchen and living area, and to design an additional floor level.
Here are some considerations I had not thought about until after I started working with John's team. If you are hiring someone to work on your home, not only will you see their work every day, but for the duration of the project, you will probably see the team fairly often. John's team and their work is top notch.
