Dr. Swati Gupta, Howell Family Dentist, was born and raised in India, where she trained as a dentist and honed her skills by treating patients in a densely populated area before moving to the United States in 1998. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry in 2002, and has been practicing in Central New Jersey since.
We provide excellent preventive care, including exams, cleanings, and digital x-rays. Early detection of dental problems is essential to gain optimal oral health. The American Dental Association recommends that you follow a schedule of twice yearly cleanings and exams.

I know it is very stressful going to the dentist. Howell Family Smiles staff and Dr. Shah put me at ease as soon as I entered. I really appreciated their kindness and understanding of my anxiety. The Doctor listens to what you are looking to accomplish. She sets up a plan and gives you the information needed to move ahead with your dental issues. I would recommend making an appointment just to see for yourself.

I Was very happy with my visit to Howell Family Smiles. Got a very pleasant greeting from the reception desk. Very polite and friendly. The office was very clean and tidy. Did not have to wait long at all to be seen by the dentist. In fact, I walked into the office, they greeted me, took my temp and right away said to come into office and have a seat. The dentist and her assistant promptly greeted me and got right to work on my cleaning. Explained what was going to be done and what to expect. Extremely professional. I was very satisfied with my experience in this office.

I’m someone who gets nervous to visit the doctor and these people made my fear go away! Diane, the receptionist was so kind on the phone and in person was so welcoming! Doctor Gupta and her assistant were patient and gentle while during my procedure. They all kept me updated on each step as my appointment went on and we’re so wonderful, not making me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. I would recommend them for sure! 5/5! Thank you!

Dr. Gupta and her staff are amazing! From the minute I stepped foot into their office they made me feel comfortable. My procedure was not an easy one, I had to have one of my upper back teeth extracted. Dr. Gupta made this happen painlessly and she made it seem effortless. I highly recommend Dr. Gupta and her staff for all of your dental needs.
