Family-owned and -operated since 1989, Total Home Construction is Long Island's premier full-service contractor, providing the best residential remodeling and renovation work throughout all of Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Queens, and Westchester County, NY. Started by brothers-in-law Paul Panagiotidis and George Avgeris, we have been steadily building our reputation and our client base for the past 30 years, beginning with our friends and neighbors on Long Island.
Indeed, many of our employees grew up on the Island and continue to live here today. It's one of two key traits that bring us together. The other is of course high-quality workmanship. In 2016, Total Home Construction was certified as a Marvin Authorized Replacement Contractor, part of a select group of contractors that adhere to the highest standards in installation and service in the industry.

Services
I have used this company many times. They installed my vinyl siding 12 years ago. They also built a door for us from inside the house so we could have entry into our attached garage, complete with stairs in the garage. We are currently using them to replace windows in our dining room and kitchen. All their prices are fair, and they are extremely neat.
Centrally located at 95 Broadhollow Rd. in Melville, our fully stocked showroom goes beyond the day's hottest kitchen and bathroom amenities to provide a window into the future of your home. And speaking of windows, we carry all major brands with a range of glass options, including the super heavy-duty R-10 triple pane windows.
Over the past few decades, basement renovations have evolved from dank storage spaces to a staple of suburban living built for in-home entertainment. Nowhere does this ring truer than right here on Long Island, home to some of the world's greatest dens, playrooms, man-caves and mini-theaters.
Many basement renovations require the installation of egress windows for code compliance, but as always, our contractors have everything you need to build your basement both beautifully and "by the book."Built for safety, code compliance and beautification, Egress systems make your basement feel larger and more livable by inviting sunlight and fresh air inside.

Total Home Construction designs and builds bathrooms to function like they should. Our bathroom renovations focus on individual needs, giving our clients the perfect space to complement - and enhance - their lifestyles.
Our designers can help you achieve any look, from vintage to modern and beyond, so whether you're searching for the perfect clawfoot tub and vanity sink combo, or whirlpool tubs and vessel sinks are more your speed, we've got the ideal set-up for you.

One of the primary reasons people choose to live on Long Island is the area's geography, which is every bit as diverse as is breathtaking. From the North Shore's wooded hills to the South Shore's beaches and bays and all the way out to the massive open fields of the East End, there's no better way to enjoy your landscape - whatever it may be - than from the comfort of a beautiful, handcrafted deck.
