We LOVE Guilford, the town green, the community, the shoreline, the history and all the amazing nature. We want to try and do our part to preserve the environment. Time after time Palumbo’s have helped me with both my vehicles on issues (saved me thousands with good advice and creative fixes) and standard maintenance. All staff are helpful from the moment you step onto the lot. I highly recommend Palumbo’s to steer you in the right direction, experienced staff, fair pricing, and extra help when you don’t expect it but need it. My go to in Guilford.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Palumbo's. My daughter's check engine light came on so we pulled in with no appointment just to see if it was safe for her to drive or if it needed urgent attention. We were immediately greeted by two young men who offered to take a look right there. They ran a diagnostic test. Patrick then came out to tell us about the findings and basically confirmed it's safe for her to drive back to school and it can wait until next week when she returns. I then went to pay for the test in which they did not charge us. I know the dealership would have for sure. It

After my axle recently (and quite dramatically) broke, Palumbo’s crew reacted quickly and went above and beyond to not only repair my car, but to provide an experience that was exceptionally responsive and pleasant. Stacy was knowledgeable about the origin of the problem, which she articulated clearly and professionally, and the entire staff wowed me with their hospitality and kindness. Peter has nurtured a truly unique car care experience and I will surely be back again! Thank you to the whole team at Palumbo’s.

My first repair at Palumbo's was superb. My second experience broke my trust. I asked for an estimate to install a hitch for a bike rack to my car. The mechanics inspected my car and the hitch and then initially quoted a reasonable fee of $260 for two hours. Then the woman at the cash register quoted a price of $350 after the mechanics told her two hours. When I brought my car in for the hitch installation, i received a phone call a couple of hours later from Palumbo's stating they needed to charge me an additional $500 for brackets, effectively increasing the bike rack hitch installation price

On my way from MA & MD & I got a flat. Palumbo’s had a FULL lot when I pulled in without an appointment. They didn’t have my size tire but put on the spare & gave me the name of a nearby tire store. They provided me cold water & even apologized for not have any breakfast for me while I waited. I was in & out in less than 30 minutes. All this for no charge!!

All the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The mechanics are very thorough and I trust them to do only what is needed on my car. The owner is always giving back to the community. I feel very fortunate to have them nearby.

Woke up to a flat tire on my car in the driveway this morning. Called Palumbo’s, and in within the hour Peter came to our home, took my car, repaired the tire, and delivered it back to me so that I could to an appointment on time. In lieu of payment they ask for donations to the Guilford Food Bank. Palumbo’s wonderful staff goes above and beyond!! Thank you!!

Going to Palumbos is like clicking your heels three times and magic happens I am in a wheelchair with an accessible vehicle and my key fob battery was dead so I stopped in to Palumbo’s and a very nice gentleman… came out and greeted me in my car and took my fob , brought it upstairs , put a new battery in it and checked to make sure it worked viola!! I tried to give him a tip - he wouldn’t except it but he did offer to put it into the Guilford Food Bank jar that they have - I am very grateful they are right across the street from where I work
